Meditation is an effective form of stress reduction and has the potential to improve quality of life. Join us as we sit together in a quiet space, stilling the thought patterns of our minds and tapping in to our true selves.
6:30-8:30pm; ages 4-10
We incorporate movement, meditation, and art in a fun way! Yoga is beneficial for everyone and can be used to help improve all elements of life. In this class, children learn yoga poses, apply those poses to games and activities, as well as work with the breath. This class is drop off, but parents are welcome to stay if they want to check it out (but parents must play if they stay!)
If you are new to yoga or want to go back to basics, this series is just for you! We will concentrate on beginner postures, correcting form and answering questions. We will talk about the energy centers of the body (Chakras) and the yoga postures that coincide with each Chakra. We will also include aspects of Meditation & the Subtle Body. This will give you a great foundation to enter into other classes and feel more confident. This is a 7 week series. Class is led by Alicia McBride.
